Welcome to the new official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan!

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, relations between Uzbekistan and Japan have been consistently expanding and strengthening.

Since 2002, Uzbek-Japanese relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership.

A historic event in bilateral relations was the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev to Japan in December 2019, within the framework of which a joint statement was signed on further deepening and expanding the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Japan.

The agreements reached during this visit, the signed agreements and the concluded contracts brought the relations of Uzbekistan with Japan to a qualitatively new level.

Uzbekistan, considering Japan as a long-standing and reliable partner, relations with which are a priority in the country's foreign policy, is set to continue to actively expand bilateral cooperation with Japan in the field of politics, trade, economic, investment, financial and technical fields, as well as communications in areas of science, innovation, health, culture, tourism and sports.

As an important link between the two states, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan will continue active efforts to fill bilateral Uzbek-Japanese relations with new content.

For this, the new website of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan not only provides a lot of useful and interesting information about Uzbekistan and the current state of Uzbek-Japanese relations, but also allows you to familiarize yourself in detail with the investment potential of Uzbekistan, with the created favorable investment climate, produced in the republic of export-oriented products, historical sights and tourism opportunities.

It is also worth noting that one of the priorities of the Embassy is to protect the rights and legitimate interests of our compatriots in Japan. Here, our compatriots will always find help and support. The Uzbek diplomats will invariably guard the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek citizens permanently or temporarily in Japanese territory.
