The "Uzbekistan-Japan Expert Dialogue: Strategic Partnership in New Conditions" conference was held in Tokyo

On July 11, 2024, the conference "Uzbekistan-Japan Expert Dialogue: Strategic Partnership in New Conditions" was held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.

The event was organized by the International Relations Information and Analysis Center and the Japan Institute of International Relations, with the support of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Japan.

Leading experts from the Japan Institute of International Relations, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan Foreign Trade Organization, University of Sofia, and University of Tsukuba participated from the host country. Uzbekistan was represented by leaders and leading experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the International Institute of Central Asia, the Macroeconomics and Regional Studies Institute, and the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.

The main focus of the conference was on the role of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Japan in the sustainable development of the Central Asian region, as well as the search for new growth opportunities and promising directions for multilateral cooperation.
