The healthcare system of New Uzbekistan is transforming into an entirely new, innovative, and high-tech system that aligns with international standards

Today, qualified medical care is becoming available even in the most remote regions of Uzbekistan. Complex, high-tech surgical operations, which until recently were carried out only in developed foreign countries, are now performed not only in the capital and regional centers, but also at the district level, which is certainly a historical event.

Quality medical services for every person!

Since the beginning of 2023, 22 family clinics, 93 family medical centers, and 394 makhalla medical centers have been created locally. As a result, primary health care was brought closer to a population of 2.1 million.

A preventive medical examination was carried out on 8.6 million people aged 18 to 40 years, 685 thousand of them were treated in outpatient settings, 72 thousand in inpatient settings.

In turn, of the 7.3 million people aged 40 years and older covered by targeted screening, 167 thousand were diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases, 52 thousand had diabetes, and measures were taken to restore their health.

Months of health were spent in Uzbekistan for agricultural workers, the elderly, teachers and mentors. At the expense of the state, operations were performed on 2 thousand children with congenital heart defects.
