We are excited to inform you that the “Sharq Taronalari” International Music Festival will be held in Samarkand on August 25-30, 2024!

Samarkand, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its rich history and is often compared to other ancient cities such as Rome, Athens, and Babylon.

Since 1997, the "Sharq Taronalari" International Music Festival has been held every two years under the auspices of UNESCO in Registon Square, one of Samarkand's unique architectural monuments. Participants and guests from more than 70 countries attend each season.

The main goal of this largest festival in Central Asia is to promote the most advanced achievements in the national music arts, preserve and develop great musical traditions, encourage musical and vocal talents, expand international creative relations, strengthen cultural and spiritual cooperation, and glorify the ideas of peace, friendship, and mutual understanding.

Those who want to participate in the festival, please send the following documents to sharqtaronalari2024@gmail.com:

• Application Form: Please send us a completed application form  (attached).
• Photo of yourself or your group.
• Autobiography: Provide an autobiography for solo participants or a group biography for ensembles.
• List of Songs: Submit the list of songs you plan to present.
• Conference Participation: For those participating, please include the topic name, abstract, and other required information (requirements attached).
• Passport copy.
• List of group members: Provide a separate document for each group member with the following information: name, gender, date of birth, date of passport issue, and passport validity period.

Please note that applications without these documents will not be considered. The questionnaires and resumes must be filled out completely and correctly.
