Discussions encompassed the further expansion of bilateral strategic partnerships and multilateral relations across priority sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on implementing agreements forged during the official visit of the Uzbekistan President to Italy in June of the current year.
Both leaders highlighted the importance of sustaining an active dialogue between parliaments and foreign political bodies. An agreement was reached to convene the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Dialogue at the level of heads of foreign political agencies in the coming year.
