The President Lays Flowers at the Independence Monument

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the Independence Monument in the New Uzbekistan Park.

This complex was built in 2021 for the 30th anniversary of our Independence. The monument depicts the most important events in the history of our country, the images of our great scientists and commanders. The monument is crowned by the Humo Bird.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev has noted that «the Independence Monument is a majestic symbol of ancient history and rich culture, humanism, courage and bravery of our people».

The representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis (‘The National Parliament’), the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the representatives of the public of the city of Tashkent also took part in the ceremony and laid flowers at the monument.
