The service sector is experiencing a steady growth trend in the contemporary world. Countries with economies centered around services are regarded as more developed than those with industrial or agricultural economies. In advanced countries, services account for more than half of the GDP, and more than 80% of skilled and highly qualified personnel work in this sector. The service sector contributes to the economy's social orientation and enhances the population's quality of life.

According to World Bank research, the water resources in the Syrdarya basin may decrease by 2-5%, and in the Amudarya basin by 10-15% by the year 2050. In turn, the shortage of clean drinking water can lead to a decrease of the total gross domestic product of the region by 11%, and the uncoordinated use of water resources can cause the loss of at least 1.75 billion dollars annually. 

In November of this year, Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the Turkic States Organization (OTS) concluded. It was marked by significant achievements that played a substantial role in strengthening the country's international political and economic positions. Throughout its chairmanship, Uzbekistan actively promoted initiatives aimed at enhancing Turkic cooperation, developing trade and economic ties, and expanding mutually beneficial relations with member countries of the organization.
