Due to the comprehensive measures taken, Uzbekistan annually saves about 7 billion cubic meters of water

The autumn-winter season of last year in Uzbekistan was distinguished by heavy rainfall. In the spring of 2024, nature also spoiled farmers with frequent rains. Due to this, 11 billion 155 million cubic meters have accumulated in the country’s reservoirs (12 percent more than in 2023). On April 1, the summer irrigation season began in the republic, and water was supplied to the regions according to a certain limit.
