The national air company "Uzbekistan Airways" has initiated flights to Tokyo for the first time in 15 years, even during the winter season

To attract Japanese tourists and provide favorable conditions for Uzbekistan citizens residing in Japan, the decision has been made to continue direct flights on the "Tashkent-Tokyo-Tashkent" route from December 2023 to March 2024.

Flights in the “Tashkent-Tokyo” direction will operate on Thursdays at 22.05 (HY527, arrival time - 09.40 +1, flight duration - 7 hours 30 minutes, Boeing 787-800), while those in the “Tokyo-Tashkent” direction are scheduled for Fridays at 11:05 (HY528, arrival time - 16.10, flight duration - 8 hours 50 minutes, Boeing 787-800).

Historically, direct flights on the "Tashkent-Tokyo-Tashkent" route were limited to the period from April to October.

 This winter marks the first time in 15 years that these flights are being organized, aiming to boost the influx of tourists from Japan, expand transit routes through Uzbekistan to Central Asia, the CIS, Europe, and the Middle East, and provide convenience for compatriots temporarily working in Japan.
