Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will officially visit Turkey on June 6th.

On May 29, at the UN headquarters in New York, during the 40th session of the states parties to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), elections were held for nine members of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) for the 2025-2028 term.

In the Khorezm region, from May 31 to June 2, the international event “Khiva - the tourist city of the Islamic world 2024” and the XII session of the ministers of tourism of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held.

Uzbekistan, like many other countries, faces serious environmental problems that hurt human health and ecosystems. However, taking into account the need to preserve the resources and health of citizens, the government of the country is actively developing measures to prevent environmental crises and introducing innovative approaches to improve the state of the environment. 

In New Uzbekistan, which has set the Third Renaissance as a big goal, developing national fine and applied art is considered an integral part of the country's socio-economic development.

Consistent reforms are being implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at further development of the education system and personnel training.

During the meetings, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev notes the importance of issues of vocational and higher education.
