At the new stage of our country's development, on the initiative of the head of our state, large-scale reforms and updates are being carried out in the religious and educational spheres. In particular, significant efforts are being made to restore and develop our national traditions and values, honor the memory of our ancestors, and beautify holy places, shrines, and mosques. These initiatives aim to strengthen the spiritual and cultural fabric of our society, ensuring that our heritage is preserved and passed down to future generations.

By implementing joint projects in the areas of socio-economic development, education, the rule of law, border management, combating crime and environmental protection, and others, Uzbekistan is gaining the status of an important partner of the EU.

On May 29, at the UN headquarters in New York, during the 40th session of the states parties to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), elections were held for nine members of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) for the 2025-2028 term.

In the Khorezm region, from May 31 to June 2, the international event “Khiva - the tourist city of the Islamic world 2024” and the XII session of the ministers of tourism of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held.
