Uzbekistan is increasingly emerging as an important destination on the global tourism map. 

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the next “Central Asia + Russia” summit, to be held on October 9–10 this year in Dushanbe.

At the conclusion of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, held in Paris from 7 to 22 November 2023, a historic decision was adopted to convene the next session—the 43rd session—in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, in 2025.

The evolution of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) has attracted particular attention from the international expert community, especially in the context of sustainable development, where Uzbekistan’s accession in 2019 became a catalyst for creating new opportunities for joint progress among Turkic countries.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Within a relatively short period of membership in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Uzbekistan has evolved from an observer into one of the key initiators of integration projects.

Of course, the title of this article might seem to impart a gloomy spirit to the content as a whole. However, we intend absolutely no reproach.
