The opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in Nagoya

"Dedicated to the 32nd Anniversary of Uzbekistan's Independence" concert program occurred at Nagoya Civic Assembly Hall. 500 guests and compatriots and fellow guests from Aichi's business, academic, cultural, and expert circles attended.

At the event, Ambassador M. Abdurakhmanov delivered a congratulatory speech on the 32nd Anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan's Independence. He acknowledged that Nagoya has the second-highest concentration of Uzbek citizens after Tokyo. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the peaceful coexistence between Uzbek individuals living in the city for work or education and the local community.

During the week, the cultural events that started in Tokyo continued in Nagoya. Our compatriots living in this city participated in a roundtable discussion. Uzbek students from Nagoya University, Nagoya University of Economics, Meijo University, Nagoya University of Technology, and colleges attended, along with our compatriots employed in leading companies in Aichi Prefecture.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan held an official reception on September 20 to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Uzbekistan's Independence.

On September 16 of this year, the opening ceremony of the Uzbek language and art school named after "World of Infinite Creativity" was held in Tokyo.

On September 17 of this year, a meeting was held between the public fund "Compatriots" and the "Japan-Uzbekistan" friendship society (association) with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo.
