In 2017, the Republic of Uzbekistan moved to a new stage of its democratic and legal development. Over the past period, a comprehensive legal system has been created to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, protect public order, ensure the safety of individuals, society and the state, and prevent crime.

In Uzbekistan, the transformation of internal affairs bodies into a people-focused and democratic institution has been a key priority since gaining independence. The government has implemented comprehensive reforms, emphasizing democratic principles and adopting best practices from developed countries to safeguard citizens' rights and interests.

One of the greatest advantages of the Criminal Code of the New Uzbekistan is the institution of fundamental underlying principles (Articles 3-10).

In our country, the family and its relationships have long been regarded as a national value. The state legally protects issues of equality, mutual trust, and inviolability in family relationships. Recent comprehensive reforms in the Republic of Uzbekistan have established a robust legal framework to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men across all spheres of public life. These reforms aim to protect women from oppression and violence.

Today, the negative impacts of climate change pose a serious challenge to sustainable development and international security. The increasing urgency with which this issue is being raised from the UN platform highlights the gravity of this problem.

In this regard, the role of the media is increasingly important, since free and independent media play a crucial role in ensuring democratic changes.

The media field in Uzbekistan has undergone big changes in recent years. Especially in matters of public control, ensuring transparency in the activities of State bodies, shaping public opinion and strengthening democratic values.
