Official announcement on the establishment of an International Multifunctional Transport and Logistics Hub for Humanitarian Assistance on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Today, the threat of a humanitarian crisis is growing in many regions of the world, associated with the severe economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, disruption of global supply chains and logistics, as well as destructive climate change.


At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, an international multifunctional transport and logistics hub for humanitarian assistance is being created in Termez

Today, the threat of a humanitarian crisis and the undermining of global food security is growing throughout the world because of the severe economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, disruption of global logistics and climate change.

IMPORTANT BACKBONE FOR EFFECTIVE COOPERATION

On its official website, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) published recently the Final Report of the Election Observation Mission (EOM) on the Presidential Elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan that took place on 24 October 2021. In this regard, an OSCE/ODIHR delegation is expected in Uzbekistan with a visit to officially present the Report and discuss its aspects.
