Uzbek President to Pay a State Visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on August 22-23.

The visit programme envisages high-level talks and other events with the participation of the two countries leaders.

The agenda includes further deepening Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and expanding practical cooperation in priority areas.

Following the talks, adopting a package of bilateral agreements is envisaged.
